This is while dessert powder\nand ready jelly have a 2% and 6% share respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the market has observed growth in terms of rial value\nof the goods sold, the total weight of the products offered in the market shrank\nby 9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sales of ready dessert, jelly powder, and dessert powder\nrespectively declined by 7%, 13%, and 19% compared a year earlier in terms of total\nweight of the products offered in the market. This is while the companies have\nbeen able to sell 5% more ready jelly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considering the economic headwinds Iran is facing, almost\nall businesses have been forces to jack up prices. Following the imposition of\nharsh US sanctions against Tehran prices of raw materials and production costs\nhas gone through the roof. The economic conditions have forced Iranian\nproducers to increase prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, severe volatility has hit markets with prices\nchanging by day due to which makers and costumers cannot draw up long-term\nplans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sales of desserts in term of rial value has jumped by 56%\nfor jelly powder, 37% for ready dessert, 115% ready jelly, and 32% for dessert\npowder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: emrc provides dessert makers with market analysis services.
