By making a foray into the neighboring market\ndna<strong>union<\/strong> is expanding its regional operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expanding the dna<strong>union<\/strong>\u2019s foothold in the Middle East\nregion has always been high on the company\u2019s agenda. Media-Sources has already\nbeen offering services in the Afghan market through an exclusive partnership\nwith commercial television station TOLO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEO of Media-Sources Mehdi Hatefi says, \u201cExpanding our\nservices, including media buying, beyond Iran\u2019s borders, have been on our\nagenda since 2017. In line with that agenda we forged an exclusive agreement\nwith commercial television station TOLO.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have made a foray into Iraqi market and plan to\nimplement our Afghanistan strategy in Iraq as well,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, sociopolitical conditions are\nfundamentally different in Iraq compared with Afghanistan. \u201cThose differences\nand political tensions in the country made work harder in Iraq.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also notes that Lebanese advertising agencies have a firm\nfoothold in Iraq. \u201cTherefore, Iranian advertising companies have faced an\nuphill battle claiming a share in the market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hatefi also notes that most Iranian advertising agencies\nactive in Iraq have been focused on offering services in Erbil and Kurdistan\nRegion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several Iranian brands have a strong presence in the Iraqi\nmarket, including Barfab and Kalleh Dairy. \u201cBut their advertising campaigns\nhave been very limited in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company CEO is of the opinion that there is extensive\npotential for promoting Iranian brands in the Iraqi market. \u201cThrough\ncollaboration with Iraqi firms, we hope to tap those potentials.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hatefi believes that Iranian companies have a great chance\nof expanding their presence in the Iraqi market but they need to adapt their\nproducts and advertising strategies with the needs of the target market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Media-Sources, a subsidiary of dnaunion, has started offering advertising services in Iraq.
