Shakelli, a foodstuff and dairy\nproducer company has recently brought flavored butters to the market. To\npromote its new product, Shakelli carried out a sampling project, the ideas and\nexecution of which was shouldered by dnaunion<\/strong> subsidiary Lemon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration between the two\nsides was not confined to the sampling project, but expanded to encompass\nfuture projects in the fields of advertising and marketing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To find out more, interviews were\nconducted with Shakelli\u2019s Marketing Manager Mohsen Kaboli and Lemon\u2019s Project\nManager Nazanin Shah-Bodagh and Production Manager Shima Ghadiri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about Shakelli\u2019s recent\nactivities Kaboli said that the company plans to carry out above the line (ATL)\nand below the line (BTL) advertising and marketing projects very soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said, \u201cWe will be presenting new products\nto the market in different fields of the foodstuff sector during the current year.\nShakelli is one of the first foodstuff producers in Iran and is now among the\nmost reputable. We are the first producers of packaged butter in the country.\nWe strive to use the latest available technology to produce healthy and\nhigh-quality products.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaboli believes that sampling is\namong the most efficient methods of advertising which companies can carry out\nwith a moderate budget to convey their message to potential customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn sampling projects, brands in\naddition to introduce their products can also engage effectively engage customers.\nThis, for sure, benefits any company. Shakelli\u2019s new products are butters which\ncome in garlic, vegetables, savory and garlic flavours which are all enriched\nwith vitamins A, D, E and K. These are used in cooking and lend a better taste\nto the food and create a pleasant experience. No other brand produces these\nbutters in Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lemon\u2019s team said that after\nconsidering many options, they had decided to serve the butters with corn for\nthe sampling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pots of corn were placed in a\nway that all preparation procedures could be carried out in front of the\ncustomers. Also, the pots were placed right in front of the refrigerator where\nthe butters were kept. The amount of added butter was important for the\ncustomers to be able to detect the butters\u2019 different tastes and to show how\nthe perfect amount can enhance the overall taste of a dish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, since the brand\u2019s main slogan\nis \u201cAlways Healthy\u201d, hygiene was our first principle in executing the project.\nThe samplers were thoroughly trained. After introducing the new Shakelli\nproducts, they also encouraged the customers to make a purchase. This\nsignificantly increased the brands sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sampling was planned to take\nplace in six spots. Yet, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the project\nwas run in two spots only before the Iranian New Year (March 20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The limited version of the sampling\nprojects got a very positive feedback, therefore, we plan to continue and\nexpand the project after the virus crisis comes to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaboli concluded that Lemon Agency\nwas selected from among three advertising companies. \u201cThe reason was Lemon\u2019s\ndetailed and diligent planning. Though the sampling was cancelled after only a\nfew days, we are more than satisfied with our collaboration. Lemon had\nmeticulously considered all the factors required for the sampling of a food\nproduct.
