The dnaunion’s Strategy for 2020-21 Fiscal in the Making

The dnaunion’s managers and strategists gathered for a kickoff meeting in mid-December to draw up the firm’s budget and general strategy for the next Iranian fiscal year that starts in March.

Nasser Pashapour Nikoo CEO of dnaunion says, “The meeting provides our subsidiaries with general guidelines that they can draw upon and forge their own plans.”

According to him, such meetings create an environment of fellowship between the company’s leadership and the subsidiaries’ managers.

Prior to the meeting, extensive research was done on the Iranian market’s needs and potentials. Furthermore, prospects of business in the country were reviewed.

The dnaunion’s Business Development Team draw up general guidelines for the company. Each subsidiary will forge its independent plans and projects in line with the general strategies.

Pashapour explains that both the general strategy and each subsidiaries’ plans are ratified after extensive talks and studies. According to him, the strategies results are regularly reviewed by experts after implementation and modifications are made if required.

The veteran businessman also pointed to the economic volatilities in Iran’s market and said, “Some do not appreciate the importance of planning in volatile economic environments. Having a proper strategy and being adaptable is of paramount importance in such conditions.”

Alireza Feyzbakhsh presided over the meeting. He is a faculty member at Sharif University of Technology’s Graduate School of Management and Economics. He provided participants with insights on Iran’s economic prospects in the coming fiscal year that starts in March.
